Category manager role
Category manager is a default role created when you initialize discussion module in space.
Category manager is associated to each category and can be filled with individual users.
Since version 2.4.0 adding users to category managers is not a mandatory field when creating a category. Since this version, actions performed by category managers are also available to space administrators and Confluence administrators in addition to category managers if they are specified.
Impact of adding Category manager users
When specifying category managers, impacts are reflected on App components as following:
