Rich text editor

This version will include a simple editor for the terms definitions

This editor will enable users to customize term's definition with formatting options like (Bold, Italic, Underlined, Lists...)



And can be disabled using this button

(info) Disabling the editor will display the definition in it's HTML format

Quick links for edit/delete/share terms

(lightbulb)Glossary 4.3.0 includes new quick links for terms displayed below:


Term edit

Terms can be edited now using the "edit" link at the top right corner of each term


and will result in displaying the dialog with rich text editor



Term delete

Terms can be deleted now using the "delete" link at the top right corner of each term

and will result in this dialog to confirm delete

Term share

Users can get a link directly to the exact term, clicking on this link will automatically copy the term link to the clipboard.

(info) Editing and deleting terms can always be done via the confluence page editor.

(info) Only users with permission to edit the page can edit and delete terms.

New Global Glossary configuration

To configure globally your add-on, you need to navigate to add-ons listing > Glossary add-on > button "Configure" or from the lateral menu in the confluence admin menu within Glossary section


Confluence administrators can activate or deactivate the highlight or the whole glossary functionalities from this menu

these options can be activated/deactivated at once from this menu

View/Share glossary space configuration

  • Confluence administrators can access any glossary space configuration using the view button. This is a direct link to the space glossary configuration.
  • Confluence administrators can share glossary space configuration (highlight color, autohighlight, highlight on hover ...) with other spaces using this share button. A dialog as following will be displayed to view current configuration and select the space to set configuration for.
