Create a Global Glossary

In our Glossary plugin It's possible to create just one global glossary in your confluence site used by the other spaces.

You can just create a new and one space dedicated only to glossary and create all the needed terms into it.

After that , to highlight the terms of this global glossary in all the confluence's spaces , you can modified the highlight configuration in each spaces to "ALL" instead of "Current", then, when you click in "Highlight" button you can see all the terms persisted in the global glossary.

For more details , please follow this steps:

  • Create a new space named for example "Glossary Space"
  • Add a glossary page ( using template "Glossary") in this space.

  • create your terms in this global Glossary.
  • Go to "Spaces Tools" Menu of each space.
  • Click on "add-ons" Menu.

  • Access to "Glossary" Tab
  • Change "Highlight from current/all glossaries" to "ALL"
  • Click on "Save".

You can now highlight all terms persisted in the Global glossary in the desired spaces.
